A little over two months into his new gig running Intel, CEO Lip-Bu Tan is laying out his plans to turn Intel into a legitimate chip manufacturer.

Tan is working on an AI strategy under Sachin Katti, who was named chief technology officer in April after joining the company in 2021. Tan was born in Malaysia and raised in Singapore.
