Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride has been named to the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game as a replacement player for Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard, the league announced Tuesday. McBride, who was selected by WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert, will take Howard's spot on Team Collier, led by her Lynx teammate, Napheesa Collier.

Bueckers leads all rookies in scoring (18.4), assists (5.8), and steals (1.85) while ranking fourth in rebounds (4.4) and blocks (0.92). She has the second-highest scoring performance among all players this season with 35 points against the Mercury on June 11.

The WNBA will need to fill Howard's spot on Team Collier with an injury replacement chosen by commissioner Cathy Englebert. Napheesa Collier selected Howard to her squad in last week's draft, pitting her against Caitlin Clark and the other half of the All-Star participants.
