An Israeli strike has killed nearly the entire family of a Khan Younis doctor while she was at work, Gaza health officials said.

The health ministry said the new deaths took the war’s toll to 53,901 since October 7 2023, when Hamas launched an attack on southern Israel, killing around 1200 people and taking another 250 hostage.
