Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan announced on Monday that they will be paying for damages for those impacted by a water main break in Detroit Monday morning.

The Great Lakes Water Authority released new photos of the massive replacement pipe segment being prepped for installation.

The city says that of the nearly 400 homes in the flood zone, 190 had basements flooded and 174 lost heat. City officials have offered hotel rooms to those affected.
