Oscar Piastri led Lando Norris home to hand McLaren a 1-2 win at Formula 1's Spanish Grand Prix, while Max Verstappen was demoted to 10th after seeing red in a battle with Charles Leclerc and George Russell. Piastri led from pole into Turn 1, while Verstappen jumped Norris by swooping around the outside of the second McLaren.

George Russell was concerned that Max Verstappen would still come back at him even after finally letting the Mercedes past in the closing stages of the Spanish Grand Prix. Russell and Verstappen renewed their rivalry in the late stages of Sunday’s race in Barcelona with an ugly collision at Turn 5.
