The outbreak has sickened 79 people across seven states, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At least 21 people have been hospitalized, and no deaths have been reported.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is warning of a Salmonella outbreak linked to several brands of eggs sold in nine states, including Washington.

The Hilmar-based company recalled 1.7 million dozen brown cage-free and brown certified organic eggs distributed to retail stores in California and Nevada, including Safeway, Raley’s, Food 4 Less, Lucky, Save Mart, FoodMaxx and Ralphs.
