The Karen Read trial is likely entering its final days as the defense team continues to call witnesses in a Massachusetts courtroom.

On Friday, the jury heard lengthy testimony from an accident reconstruction expert first hired by the federal government, who is now retained by the defense, about the damage to Read’s SUV. The expert will continue his testimony Monday morning. The trial resumes at 9 a.m. Monday, which marks the start of the 8th week of testimony.
