Norfolk County prosecutors say Read struck O’Keefe with her SUV while driving intoxicated. Read’s attorneys say her car never struck O’Keefe and that others are to blame for his death.

DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Judge Beverly Cannone has denied a motion for a mistrial by Karen Read’s defense team. Read’s attorney Robert Alessi called for the mistrial because John O’Keefe’s arm was never swabbed for DNA, only his clothing.
