WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington City Council gave initial approval to its proposed $306.6 million budget on Tuesday night.

Police are seeking the community's help in locating a dog that was taken during a burglary in Wilmington, Delaware, last month.

"Tooty," a female French Bulldog, was taken during the burglary, which occurred in the 4100 block of North West St. on May 30.

Community members say the situation is urgent, but city officials say shootings are actually down compared with last year.
