The Santa Cruz Police Department confirmed on its social media page that it received a call around 2:13 p.m. about a body that was discovered at the popular West Cliff Drive destination.

Santa Cruz officials said they were notified about the body on West Cliff Drive near the lighthouse around 2:15 p.m. The Santa Cruz County Coroner is working on identifying the person.
