Italian teenager Federico Cina has picked up his second ATP 1000 victory by defeating Coleman Wong in straight sets at the Madrid Open.

Maria Sakkari held off a late charge from Wang Xinyu from 3-0 down in the second set to win their Mutua Madrid Open first-round tie in straight sets.
