UFCW Local 881 blamed the results of the election on “fear and intimidation” by the Chicago-area grocer and said it would file unfair labor practice charges with the NLRB.

Fourteen of the stores are on the Missouri side of the metro area and will be represented by UFCW Local 655. Three in Illinois will be represented by UFCW Local 881.
