Bible-teaching legend Pastor John MacArthur went home to be with the Lord Monday at the age of 86. He had been hospitalized earlier this month after contracting pneumonia, The New York Times reported.

MacArthur’s fundamental understanding of reality was about his own ascension to power, and it absolutely pervaded everything.
