A team of scientists in California say they have discovered a new color they named olo, but you can't see the "most intense teal" with the naked eye.

Pantone named it the Color of the Year for 2013 because of the “luxury and elegance (it brings) to the palette.” Emeralds are formed when chromium, vanadium, and iron are present in the mineral beryl.
