ESPN has announced that longtime play-by-play announcer Mike Patrick has died. He was 80 years old. Patrick spent 36 years at ESPN and called his last event -- the Liberty Bowl -- in December of 2017. He was most notably the voice of Sunday Night Football for 18 seasons. Patrick died of natural causes on Sunday in Virginia.
