A former government cybersecurity expert has traded firewalls for fungi, cultivating gourmet mushrooms in the desert and supplying them to nearly 30 restaurants across southern Arizona.

Activity picked up again on the west and northwest flanks of the fire Tuesday morning, and the fire is now estimated at 2,300 acres, the post said.
