A woman, who prosecutors say was beaten nearly to death by her former casino floor supervisor, has filed a lawsuit against Virgin Hotels Las Vegas accusing the company of negligence.

"This is a situation where this is a clear attempt murder," Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney Sarah Overly said.
