GRAPEVINE, Texas — The storm-damaged Grapevine Sam's Club store that shut down in 2022 is reopening its gas station Friday, ahead of the full store opening later this year, officials announced.

GRAPEVINE – Nearly two years ago — and two weeks before Christmas — an EF-1 tornado touched down in Grapevine, damaging several buildings, including the Sam's Club off Highway 114.

Sam's Club recently opened its first new location in seven years in Grapevine, Texas, near Dallas. The store is the first in the chain to have no checkout lanes — but the tech doesn't stop there.
