Ground beef sold at Whole Foods stores across the country could be contaminated with E. coli, according to U.S. agriculture officials.

The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a public health alert for some raw ground beef products sold at Whole Foods Market because of a risk of E. coli contamination.

U.S. agriculture officials are warning that packages of ground beef sold at Whole Foods markets may be contaminated with E
