The leaderboard is jam-packed in northern Illinois as the 2025 John Deere Classic enters its final round with last year's reigning champion now defending his title and eyeing a repeat bid. Davis Thompson takes a one-shot lead into the final 18 holes at TPC Deere Run seeking the second PGA Tour victory of his career at the same course where he won his first.

A year ago, Davis Thompson won the event for his first PGA Tour victory. He was the 24th golfer to make the JDC his first PGA Tour win. He is in contention once again at TPC Deere Run, tied for second, a shot back, in his effort to defend his title. Last week's winner, Aldrich Potgieter, is just three shots off the lead after he shot 66 on Friday.
