The Cessna was on its way back to Menomonie Municipal Airport on Saturday morning with the four who departed from there last Wednesday for Nashville, according to flight records.
All four were from Menomonie, Wisconsin. The airplane struck powerlines and crashed in a field in Trilla, not far from the Coles County Memorial Airport, the National Transportation Safety Board said.
