Hamas executes four men in Gaza for looting aid trucks, as a clan leader in southern Gaza challenges Hamas's control by forming his own force to secure aid deliveries.

More than 30 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured on Sunday in southern Gaza near a humanitarian aid distribution site run by a US company, according to local health officials.  Witnesses said the Israeli military had opened fire as Palestinians gathered to collect food.

Hamas said it was seeking amendments to a US-backed proposal for a temporary ceasefire with Israel in Gaza, but President Donald Trump’s envoy rejected the group’s response as “totally unacceptable”.
