Bicycle safety classes are being rolled out by the Poway Unified School District to prepare students for getting e-bike parking permit stickers that will allow them to park their bikes on campuses.

The county, the Transportation Authority of Marin and bicycle safety programs have launched the “E-Bikers Club” campaign.

Local bike shops, for instance, could appoint a staffer to conduct safety classes, and kids could get a safety sticker to place on their bikes showing they have completed e-bike safety education.
