Soccer goalkeeper Bayliss Flynn of Edina signed an endorsement deal Wednesday with TruStone Financial credit union, becoming the first known high school athlete in Minnesota to accept such a contract.

The Edina girl’s soccer team is advancing in the Class 3A state soccer tournament after a 5-0 win over Duluth East Wednesday night at Spring Lake Park High School.

The Edina Hornets defeated the Eden Prairie Eagles 2-1 in the Section 2AAA Championship Tuesday night at Prior Lake High School. Luke Aadelen opened the scoring for Edina in the 42nd minute.
