Deputies say a hiker is in critical condition after they needed help off the White Tanks Mountains in the far West Valley Thursday afternoon.

Three people needed to be rescued from the White Tank Mountains due to exhaustion on Thursday, according to MCSO.

Three hikers were airlifted off the mountain Thursday afternoon, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
