Colorado Springs voters will once again decide this spring whether recreational marijuana sales should be permitted in the state’s second-largest city — less than five months after they voted in favor of such sales.

The Colorado Springs City Council voted 7-2 to put forth a ballot question about the sale of recreational marijuana in the upcoming municipal election.

The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) alongside the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) issued a health and safety advisory due to contaminated retail marijuana flower.
