Jack Draper and Carlos Alcaraz will go toe-to-toe in a blockbuster Italian Open quarter-final this afternoon. It is Alcaraz who leads the head-to-head record 3-2, coming out on top earlier this year when Draper had to retire from their Australian Open clash, but the Briton got his revenge on his way to winning the title at Indian Wells.

It’s going to be tough, as Draper will be playing French Open champion Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals, but the British No 1 won his last match against the Spaniard on his way to triumphing at Indian Wells this season.

With his win, Carlos Alcaraz (98 matches) became the third-fastest player to 75 ATP Masters 1000 wins, after Rafael Nadal (91) and Stefan Edberg (97) since the format's introduction in 1990
