A 54-year-old woman driving a minivan in East County was killed Wednesday after the vehicle veered off state Route 76, California Highway Patrol officials said.

Steve Le, 24, of Methuen, and a Virginia woman, were killed in the crash that shut down the highway in Greenland for several hours Wednesday afternoon.
