PSA Airlines is moving its corporate headquarters from the Midwest to Charlotte, the company announced Wednesday.

The sole airline based in the Dayton region will relocate out of the Miami Valley. PSA Airlines, a subsidiary of American Airlines Group, will move its corporate headquarters from Dayton to Charlotte, N.C., resulting in the potential loss of hundreds of lost jobs.

Between the airport, the workforce and the community, the Charlotte region can be a magnet for foreign businesses — if they know about it.

PSA Airlines, a regional airline and subsidiary of American Airlines Group, announced today that it will relocate its corporate headquarters from Dayton, Ohio, to Charlotte, North Carolina, by January 2026.

Charlotte and Los Angeles face off in non-conference action. The teams meet Friday for the first time this season.

American Airlines Group Inc. (NASDAQ: AAL) owns PSA, which already has a large presence here operating regional flights on American’s behalf. American is based in Fort Worth, Texas, but runs its second-largest hub at Charlotte Douglas, known as CLT.
