A southern Indiana man is behind bars on Tuesday after police arrested him for his alleged social media posts. Indiana State Police said Texas authorities contacted them about an X handle they allege belonged to 28-year-old David Allen June Cherry.

A Southern Indiana man was arrested by state police Tuesday after he allegedly posted life-threatening statements against Elon Musk on X.

Cherry, 28, was arrested and charged with intimidation and threat to commit terrorism. He's being held at Harrison County Jail.

The investigation began early Tuesday when authorities in Texas contacted their counterparts in the Hoosier State about an X account tied to Cherry that made threats toward Musk earlier this month.
