The Chicago Bulls are in the middle of a tough stretch as they are dealing with some injury trouble, and they have also lost five games in a row. On Sunday, that fifth loss came to the Portland Trail Blazers,
White provided 16 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and three assists over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 122-100 loss to Boston. The 24-year-old guard had missed the prior four games with an ankle issue,
With Zach LaVine away from the team, it was going to be an uphill battle, but the Bulls didn't help their cause by allowing 27 points off 15 turnovers. And with the trade deadline a week away, the rumors aren't going away.
The Chicago Bulls, playing without star guard Zach LaVine, lost the opener of a three-game trip Wednesday night, falling to the Boston Celtics 122-100.
It further goes on to read: "LaVine is viewed by some within the organization as the safer option. At 29, he’s five and a half years younger and some $6 million cheaper than Butler this season, though his contract extends longer and he’s had some recent health concerns. There are risks all over the board."
But the team has been "fun-bad," thanks to solid play from two-time All-Star small forward/shooting guard LaVine, two-time All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, and guards Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu and Giddey. In the mediocre East, the Bulls are good enough to have at least a shot at the postseason.

Johnson of Chicago Sports Network ( Twitter link ). White has been on the shelf with a right ankle bone bruise since January 19.
White (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics. Despite this questionable tag, head coach Billy Donovan previously said that White was more likely to return in either or both of the final two games of the Bulls' three-game road trip.
Donovan has known the former Patriots coach since his days when he was coaching the Florida Gators to back-to-back national championships. So it wasn't unusual for Belichick to show up at the United Center on Monday.
