The New York Jets have begun their search for a new head coach and it continues with former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.

The New York Jets will interview former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel for their head-coaching job Friday, a league source said. It’s the second known interview for the opening. New York interviewed former Washington Commanders and Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera on Thursday.

Vrabel was on a break from his duties with the Browns, returning to Nashville for a few days to finalize the sale of his home — he and his wife, Jen, downsized but stayed in town — and, of course, to golf. His phone buzzed throughout breakfast, calls from contractors and inspectors and also Browns colleagues, including tight ends coach Tommy Rees.
