They lost Tank Dell to a devastating knee injury a few weeks ago, and of course they also lost their major offseason acquisition, Stefon Diggs, earlier in the year. And if C.J. Stroud has his way, Diggs will be back next season.

In his first season with the Texans, Diggs caught 47 passes for 496 yards and three touchdowns before tearing his ACL in October. At 31 years old and coming off an ACL tear, Diggs might not be in the prime of his career, but he is clearly valued by his Texans teammates.

The Texans' season came to an end on Saturday afternoon in Kansas City, but C.J. Stroud hopes that doesn't end his time as Stefon Diggs' teammate.

The Houston Texans are heading into the NFL offseason with a goal of taking another step towards contending for a Super Bowl. After having an aggressive offseason last year, the Texans went through major injury issues and fell in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Houston Texans entered the 2024 NFL season with lofty expectations thanks much in part to the fact that they landed wide receiver Stefon Diggs last spring.
