New in theaters, Flight Risk marks Gibson’s first turn as a director since 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge, which earned Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Directing for Gibson and Best Actor for Andrew Garfield. As such, Wahlberg knew going into the film that he was in great hands before the action thriller took flight.
