On Wednesday at 3:04 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning valid from Thursday 4 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley as well as Harney, Baker and Malheur counties.

The storm is expected to bring moderate to heavy snowfall across the state, affecting major roadways and travel plans.

Heavy snow and high winds are forecast to impact travel on Oregon’s Cascade Mountain roads and passes from Thursday night into Saturday afternoon.
