HOWELL — Howell Public Schools has been affected by a nationwide cybersecurity breach, but is unsure if any data was actually obtained, according to Communications Director Tom Gould.

In an e-mail sent to Twin Falls School District parents, the system provider PowerSchool was part of the cybersecurity incident on December 28, 2024. The Twin Falls IT departments have been reviewing the access and as of now it doesn’t appear that the Twin Falls School District information was accessed.
