Dry, hot winds will fan blazes in Los Angeles into midweek — and some forecasts show little relief for the rest of the month — as Southern California struggles with one of the worst starts to a year for wildfires.

Mexico has sent 72 firefighters to Los Angeles on Saturday to help battle the devastating wildfires across the region. Disaster relief workers from the National Forestry Commission and the Ministry of Defense in Mexico also arrived to assist local emergency workers.
