DETROIT (WKRC) - Ford Motor Company is recalling 240,510 SUVs in the United States due to concerns over potentially improperly secured seatbelt anchor bolts, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced Friday.

Ford Motor is recalling 240,510 vehicles in the U.S. over potential seat belt issues, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Friday.

Ford Motor has recalled more than 240,000 SUVs over the risk of potentially insecure seatbelts. According to the recall notice, the seatbelt anchor bolts in the affected vehicles may not have been properly secured during assembly. The issue mainly affects the 2020-2021 models of both Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator.

The company is currently recalling certain model years of its Expedition SUV and Super Duty pickup truck, along with a small number of the Corsair SUV from Ford’s luxury Lincoln line, due rearview camera failure, with over 72,000 potentially affected vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
