LAS VEGAS (AP) — When Ariana Grande,Cynthia Erivo and director Jon M. Chu took the stage in Las Vegas last April to tease “Wicked” months before its theatrical release, there was a cautious optimism that the long-anticipated film would be a hit.

Both Erivo and Grande took the stage to introduce "For Good" alongside director Jon M. Chu and producer Marc Platt. Chu reminded that this is the third year "Wicked" has closed Universal's CinemaCon presentation;

Erivo and Ariana Grande were on hand to introduce the first footage of the sequel at CinemaCon. Follow the yellow brick road to the conclusion of Elphaba's story. A lucky few got the chance to get a glimpse of that journey in the first trailer for Wicked: For Good at Universal's CinemaCon presentation on Wednesday evening.
