Avalanche Fall to Bruins 5-3 At Home

Boston opened the scoring at 13:46 of the first period when Cole Koepke deflected Andrew Peeke’s wrist shot from just outside the right circle into the net.

FOURTH LINE NOT SLOWING DOWN — The Bruins’ fourth line of Mark Kastelic, Beecher and Koepke now has six of the team’s 19 goals this season including two of Wednesday’s four goals. Each of the three players has two goals and three assists through five games. Koepke and Beecher are at plus-9, already, while Kastelic is at plus-8.
