In a new 2025 NFL mock draft, the dream scenario unfolds for the Bears as they land a stud edge rusher at 10th overall.

With their pair of second-round selections -- including the Carolina Panthers' pick -- Chicago selects West Virginia guard/center Wyatt Milum (No. 39) and Arkansas edge rusher Landon Jackson (No. 41), addressing two other glaring holes on the roster.

The Chicago Bears‘ bold and aggressive 2024 offseason proved to be a mixed bag, so far. Keenan Allen, by all accounts, had a solid season, catching seven touchdowns from quarterback Caleb Williams, D’Andre Swift’s six rushing touchdowns came two shy of setting a new career-high while rushing for 959 yards.

Luckily, the Bears are in a prime position to address the trenches, as well as other areas of need, with $73 million in salary cap space, per Spotrac, and four picks in the Top 75 of the 2025 NFL draft. That includes the 10th overall pick, where Chicago is primed to land a top prospect.
