AUBURN, Ala. (WMBF) - Coastal Carolina baseball is World Series-bound. After a thrilling extra-inning victory in game one of the Auburn Super Regional, CCU took on the Auburn Tigers again for game two Saturday afternoon.

No. 13 Coastal Carolina defeated No. 4 Auburn 4-1 on Saturday to win its super regional, securing its 23rd consecutive victory and becoming the NCAA tournament’s first team to secure its spot in the 2025 Men's College World Series.

Coastal Carolina defeated Auburn 4-1 to win the NCAA baseball super regional series 2-0 and advance to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
