Burnley and Leeds United have won promotion to the Premier League, while there is a heck of a race for the final playoff spots.

A season that began with Burnley in turmoil, following relegation and the departure of Vincent Kompany, ended with his successor Scott Parker leading them back to the Premier League on an occasion that flew in the face of much that has gone before this campaign.

The Clarets’ victory over Sheffield United on Monday night also secured promotion from the Championship for Leeds, who sit top of the table on goal difference. The title fight looks set to go to the wire, and both teams will finish on 100 points if they win their final two matches of the season.
