This marks the second smoke-related issue to impact a Delta flight within a week, just two days after an Australia-bound flight returned to Los Angeles due to smoke on the plane.

A Delta plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday after passengers observed a “haze” inside the aircraft. Delta Flight DL876 was heading from Atlanta, Georgia to Columbia, South Carolina around 11:20 am on Monday when the incident took place.

According to Delta, 94 passengers, two pilots and three flight attendants were on board Delta Flight 876 bound for Columbia, South Carolina from Atlanta.
