Count New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart among those excited about Sue Bird being named women’s national team managing director for Team USA. “It’s really cool for Sue to be the new managing director of USA Basketball,” Stewart said after Thursday’s training camp practice in Brooklyn, according to the New York Daily News.
