MSU head coach Adam Nightingale and forward Isaac Howard helped lead Team USA to it's first gold medal at the World Championships in 92 years

After 92 years of failure at the IIHF Men’s World Championship, Team USA took home the gold medal on Sunday in Stockholm. That result, combined with perhaps the biggest upset in tournament history, drew the attention of North Americans to the tournament, which is typically ignored since it coincides with the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
