A bunch of Tesla’s humanoid Optimus robots walked out alongside the reveal of Tesla’s new Robovan vehicle at tonight's Cybercab event. The robot is also seen in a video doing daily human tasks like bringing in a package off the porch and watering your plants.

Tesla’s Optimus bot isn’t new, but this is the first event where actual robots joined the stage—and the crowd—rather than a person in a robot costume. Or was it? Apparently, Tesla Optimus robots are not autonomous artificial intelligence (AI).

A new iteration of the Optimus robot was unveiled at Tesla's We, Robot event, where Elon Musk said it would eventually walk the dog.
