Star Fox designer Takaya Imamura has shared a new piece of art, as well as his hopes that 2 of his past games will come to Nintendo Switch 2.

At Walmart, the Nintendo Switch Lite’s retail price has dropped from $257 to $175, representing a cost savings of $82. The Nintendo Switch Lite is a smaller version of the original Switch, featuring most of the same perks that have made the Switch one of the best-selling video game consoles in modern gaming history.

Nintendo is currently the only console maker that makes you pay for a monthly subscription to access its classic games instead of letting you buy them a la carte. That needs to change with the Switch 2.

Given all of the apparent changes to the Joy-Con Controllers with the Nintendo Switch 2, such as the rumored ability to use them like a PC mouse, a true follow-up to 1-2 Switch could be a very smart way for Nintendo to introduce these new additions to the more casual side of its audience on day one.

Takaya Imamura, a former artist for Nintendo for over three decades is asking Nintendo to bring Star Fox Assault to the Switch 2.
