An overzealous Yankees fan led security on a wild chase across the outfield Wednesday night — and nearly got away with it — before he was taken down in brutal fashion.

To the NFL teams looking for a running back, scout this guy… A fan of the New York Yankees decided to get brave and took a run on the field of Angel Stadium. The scene went down Wednesday during Game 3 of the three-game series between the Yankees and Los Angeles Angels.

During the bottom of the seventh inning of the Yankees' 1-0 win over the Angels, one fan offered up some added excitement to the low-scoring affair.
