"CBS Mornings" Gayle King and the rest of Blue Origin's historic all-women spaceflight crew blasted off on Monday.

The Monday morning launch of Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket, was the first all-women spaceflight in more than 60 years.

Holding a daisy to the sky, songstress Katy Perry emerged from a Blue Origin space shuttle before falling to her knees and kissing the hot Texan ground below her. She had been away from Earth for just 11 minutes on board the all-female crewed space flight. Visibly moved, she declared the experience had left her feeling “so connected to love”.
